As long as I can remember, I have been in love with the practice of questioning binary-based thinking and systems. As an adolescent that identified, at the time, as female and straight, there was no better space to explore ways to “be” outside of the boxes, than with sexuality. That passion I had for exploration has fueled my educational path both personally and professionally.

I began my studies in Education, focusing on Project-Based-Learning and adaptability of Educators with students with disabilities.

I continued onto Reproductive work by becoming a Doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings , spilling myself into the advocacy and social justice aspect of reproductive inequalities throughout marginalized communities (BIPOC folks, Women, LGBTQIA+, those with disabilities, under-served populations etc).

Most recently, I have been graced with the opportunity to study and practice under Tiffany Yelverton of Entice Me. With decades of experience and a strong vision of closing gender gaps through sexy coaching, safe pleasure products, support for the Cancer Community, sharing her knowledge through trainings and just living her best damn life, I am incredibly lucky to help continue her vision in my own way.

Why Sexual and Reproductive Health?

Mildred was my mother‘s middle name and a name she had a strong distaste for most of her life. Her issue lied in the fact that it sounded like a grandmother’s name, no matter the familial relevance it held.  The ironic part was when she finally did become a grandmother, she fell into her role as if she had been waiting her whole life for that moment.  It was the most vibrant, purposeful, and joyous I’d ever seen her, and in those many spaces, the “Mildredness” in her radiated.

MILDRED

MOTHERING

To me, mother and mothering are verbs. They are actionable, measurable and do not adapt to the confines of any box.  Instead, it spans spectrums, defies gender, moves through cultures and climates with ease and most importantly, it runs our humanity.

Mildred Mothering is dedicated to my mother, Joanne Mildred Dwyer Crowle, and all the caretakers spending their time and energy fulfilling their inner “Mildredness”.

Let us continue to RADIATE.
